Violet Days is a Stockholm-based alternative/electronic pop project fronted by Swedish singer-songwriter Lina Hansson, in collaboration with songwriter/producer Kris Eriksson. The name comes from her grandmother, Viola. The sound started edgier and rock-leaning with early single "Razorheart," before shifting toward more ethereal, synth-driven textures with atmospheric soundscapes comparable to Daya, Halsey, Zara Larsson, and Tove Lo. Their breakout came with 2016's "Your Girl," streamed over five million times, and their debut EP "Made in My Head" — produced entirely by Kris — marked their most ambitious step forward, following an official worldwide debut at SXSW 2018. Single "Just A Little" was named one of the best songs of 2018 by Swedish P3 Radio and earned them "Artist of the Year" and "Song of the Year" nominations at the 2019 Dalecarlia Awards.
