Lisa Howard is a Swedish singer-songwriter, 26 years old, raised in Solna outside Stockholm to an American father and Swedish mother. She initially left Sweden for the American West Coast chasing inspiration, but found what she was looking for back home instead — after being accepted into a Swedish songwriting program in Västernorrland, she moved back and started writing in Swedish. Her first single under that new direction, "Jag ljuger för mig," was released via Universal Music. She's signed with Universal Music Publishing Scandinavia (United Stage/Universal), and her songwriting leans into raw, confessional lyrics about breakups and crises — and the feeling of coming out the other side of the darkness.
