As Labels Seek Independent Alternatives, Amuse Expands Label Services With TEN Partnership and New Insights Platform
Stockholm, 9 June 2026 – The independent music distribution and services company, Amuse, is expanding its Label Services division, presenting a new partnership and previewing a new insights platform built to help labels and management teams centralise their artist projects and act on their data faster.
The new partnership with TEN, the Swedish independent label and management who launched the careers of artists like Zara Larsson, Icona Pop and Omar Rudberg, will be led by Amuse’s Label Services division. The partnership covers full-service support, including frontline management for new releases and artist projects, catalog optimization, UGC management, access to physical distribution and royalty reporting.
TEN is fiercely independent – and Amuse’s Label Services is built to protect it, giving them the infrastructure of a global partner while they keep their agility and creative control.
The announcement comes amid the consolidation of music distribution – with several of the services labels long relied on now sitting inside major-label groups.
Adding to Amuse’s Label Services offer is the new insights platform, built in-house – bringing cross-platform reporting and analytics together with distributor-level data found nowhere else.
The platform will pull a label or management team’s whole operation into one workspace, providing a clearer view of their catalogues, release campaigns and growth opportunities across markets, DSPs and social media.
A standout feature is a market-specific alert system that surfaces the moments most teams miss – allowing partners to act on momentum. For example, a track breaking in a new territory, a UGC spike, an older record showing new signs of life.
The idea is to give a small team the kind of catalogue intelligence that used to need a whole department.
The rollout comes in stages. A beta opens this month to selected partners, an invite-only version follows in late Q3, and a fuller release lands in Q4.
“Independent labels are operating with more ambition, speed and complexity than ever,” said Giorgio D’Ambrosio, CEO of Amuse. “They need a partner that combines distribution, hands-on services and meaningful data without friction – and one whose own independence isn’t up for negotiation.”
“We’ve spent years building that around artists, and we’re now extending it to the labels and managers.”
“The best opportunities usually show up early in the data, before they’re obvious to everyone else,” said John Dahlbäck, Head of A&R at Amuse. “The platform helps labels spot those moments faster and act on them.”
“We wanted a partner that gives us serious infrastructure but keeps us genuinely independent,” said Ola Håkansson, CEO and Founder, and Wille Hagelin, COO of TEN.
The new signings join existing partners including Håkan Hellström’s Tro & Tvivel and the tastemaking collective Fever World.
