Late Night Drive Home (often shortened to LNDH) is a four-person indie rock band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 2019. The band comprises lead singer Andre Portillo, guitarist Juan "Ockz" Vargas, bassist Freddy Baca, and drummer Brian Dolan. Starting as a lo-fi bedroom pop project between Portillo and Vargas, the band evolved into a distinctive indie alternative rock sound with hints of emo, drawing influences from bands like Wallows, The Strokes, Nirvana, and Arctic Monkeys. They gained significant traction with their 2021 hit "Stress Relief," which accumulated over 100 million streams. After signing with Epitaph Records in 2023, Late Night Drive Home has continued to release music, including their debut album "How Are We Feeling?" (2022) and the EP "I'll remember you for the same feeling you gave me as I slept" (2024), and has performed at major festivals like Coachella. Their music often explores themes related to the internet, online identity, and the complexities of young adulthood in a digital age.
