Amuse Bolsters Artist & Label Services With Two Senior Hires, Signalling Further UK Expansion

Tim Cronin and Mark ‘Mitch’ Mitchell join to lead the division's next phase of growth, following a run of new UK partnerships and a new London office.

London, August 18, 2026 | Independent distribution & services company Amuse announces two new senior music industry executives joining to lead its Artist & Label Services division. Mark Mitchell joins as General Manager and Tim Cronin joins as SVP, Head of Music. Home to billion-streaming songs and a curated roster of labels and tastemaking artists, Amuse’s Artist & Labels Services works with international successes and local heroes, including Yot Club, Deki Alem, Kojo Funds, Stela Cole, The Walters and Hannes.

While the new roles will oversee Amuse’s global operations, the duo will have a specific focus on expanding into the UK, following a run of new partnerships: Ryan Mack, Daisy Maybe and Kojo Funds, as well as Manchester label project The Mill, founded by producer whYJay, whose production credits include UK number one records with Central Cee, ArrDee and Aitch.

Amuse is also announcing a new London office, located in Farringdon, from which Mitchell and Cronin will lead Amuse’s London, New York and Stockholm teams managing Artist Marketing, Catalog Development and Optimization, as well as A&R and sales.

Mitch joins from Parlophone Records, where he served as Co-President for over five years, supporting artists including Coldplay, Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, Pink Pantheress and David Guetta. He most recently spent a year at 0207 Def Jam/Universal Music Group, and prior to Parlophone, served as General Manager at Atlantic Records UK. In his new role, Mitch will lead on artist development, label strategy and global marketing across the UK, US, and Scandinavia.

Cronin joins from FUGA, where he served as Senior Director of Business Development, leading business development and sales across the UK and Ireland. His background spans records, publishing, and artist management, where he built a roster signed to major and independent labels and publishers. Cronin previously worked closely with UK band Oh Wonder, while his own artists have supported and collaborated with acts including Lewis Capaldi and Fred again. As SVP, Head of Music at Amuse, he will oversee the expansion of Amuse’s tailored services to support growing and established acts and labels.

Amuse also plans to launch a new, invite-only insights platform aimed at augmenting marketing and label teams this fall. Built to help track campaign performance and spot catalog opportunities, the platform will send targeted alerts on key market moments, turning real-time data into faster release and marketing decisions. The platform will be specially beneficial to smaller teams that do not have a dedicated catalog optimization function.

Giorgio D’Ambrosio, CEO of Amuse, commented:

“We’re seeing growing demand from labels and managements looking for an active, modern partner. Amuse combines a human approach and data with the scale only a distributor can offer. Mark and Tim bring more than 40 years of combined industry experience between them, and will be able to bring Amuse’s unique offering to artists and labels alike.”

Mark Mitchell, General Manager of Artist and Label Services, Amuse, commented:

“I’ve spent my career in independent and major labels and right now we’re seeing the most growth and excitement with artists, management and smaller labels. Amuse is giving the next generation of artists the insight, foresight, funding and team to compete and I'm incredibly excited to help build on its already exceptional offering.”

Tim Cronin, SVP, Head of Music, Amuse, commented:

“Amuse has created a genuinely proprietary offering in this space. As we iterate on our platform and analytics functionality, we’re delivering a game-changing toolkit for current and future partners. With Independent music driving around 30% of the global recorded music business, providing creators with the right tools is more vital than ever. I’m delighted to bring our suite of technology and services to artists and labels, empowering them to prosper on their own terms.”
