Claiming Your Artist Profiles provides artist verification, crucial data analytics, and full control over your brand, allowing you to update images, bios, and social links. On some major streaming services, it enables you to pitch music directly to playlist editors, often sell merchandise, promote concerts, or even highlight content to engage with your fans where they’re listening. When it comes to music marketing getting your artist profile set up is a crucial step.

Now for some practical stuff. Below you’ll find an overview of how to claim your artist profiles across Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, Tidal, Amazon Music, and Deezer. 

How to claim your artist profile on Spotify: 

  1. Go to the ‘Artist’ page in your Amuse app. 

  2. Click the button to connect. 

  3. Sign up or log in to your Spotify user account. 

  4. You’ll be redirected to Spotify for Artists, fill in your information there. 

  5. After submitting your details, you’ll be granted access and redirected to your Artist Page. 

With Amuse, you get instant access to Spotify for Artists. Once your artist profile is successfully claimed, a “Registered Artist” badge will automatically appear in your Spotify bio, confirming that your profile is officially verified. Important: To claim your artist profile you need to have at least one release that’s live on Spotify distributed by Amuse. Read more here

How to claim your artist profile on Apple Music: 

  1. Log in to Apple Music for Artists in the Apple Music app or via the website

  2. Click “Request Artist Access”. 

  3. Copy and paste your Apple Music artist page link to search. If you do not have a link to your artist page, you can also search for your artist page by artist name in the search field. 

  4. Select one of your albums to verify that you are claiming the correct page. Choose your “Role” (eg. artist, manager, or label). 

  5. Fill out the requested application fields.

How to request a YouTube Official Artist Channel: 

  1. Go to the ‘Artist’ page in your Amuse app. 

  2. Under "Artist Profiles", click the "Request OAC" option. 

  3. Select the channel you want to upgrade if you have multiple YouTube channels. 

  4. Complete the request by following the on-screen instructions.

How to claim your artist profile on Tidal: 

  1. Go to Tidal Artist Home

  2. Click "Get Started." 

  3. Sign in or create a TIDAL account. 

  4. Find your artist page. 

  5. Confirm your primary artist release. 

  6. Choose a verification method (social media or manual). 

  7. Complete the verification process. 

  8. Fill in your personal details. Click "Submit." TIDAL will respond within 6 weeks.

How to claim your artist profile on Amazon: 

  1. Request access to Amazon Music For Artists. 

  2. Search and select your artist. Tap “Claim”. 

  3. Fill out the requested application fields. 

  4. Wait for Amazon to grant your request (this can take a few weeks).

How to claim your artist profile on Deezer: 

  1. Request access to Deezer For Creators. 

  2. Select your “Role” (eg. artist, manager or label). It will ask for your UPC, which can be found in the Amuse app if you tap on your release. 

  3. Make sure to remove the leading 0 from your UPC, then it will be recognised by Deezer's system. 

  4. Fill out the requested application fields. Wait for Deezer to grant your request (this can take a few weeks).
