Selling over 70 million records, legendary hip-hop trio the Black Eyed Peas have started releasing music through Amuse.
Consisting of rappers will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, the Black Eyed Peas are multi-platinum artists who have released six studio albums, won 6 Grammys and are one of the greatest music groups of all time.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1995, the group achieved international success in 2003 when Fergie joined the band as lead vocalist and they released their third studio album Elephunk. The group’s first major single “Where Is The Love?” topped music charts in 13 countries, while their fourth album, Monkey Business, went on to be an even bigger worldwide success, certified 4 x Platinum in the U.S. and spawning four singles, “Don’t Phunk with My Heart”, “Don’t Lie”, “My Humps”, and “Pump It”.
In 2017, the Black Eyed Peas announced that Fergie was taking a break from the group to work on her sophomore solo album Double Dutchess while the remaining members were working on the graphic novel Masters of the Sun.
The band released their seventh studio album, Masters of the Sun Vol. 1, on October 26, 2018. This is their first album, without Fergie, in almost eight years.
