END USER DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy matters to us. Amuse and our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Amuse”, “we”, “us”) collect and process, together with the artist(s) you have chosen to engage with (“Artist(s)”), some personal information about you and we want to take some time to tell you about it. This privacy policy (“End User Privacy Policy”) is intended to help you better understand what and how we collect, use, store, share and protect your information when you’ve registered to receive the latest updates from artist(s).
1. Who is collecting your data?
Amuse and the Artist(s) may collect and process personal data about you after you opt in, register (e.g. when you register to pre-save or autosave an Artist’s upcoming release) and/or consent to receive the latest updates from us and/or the Artist(s).
2. What kind of data?
We and the Artist(s) may collect the following data:
your name (if provided),
user account information from the third-party platforms which you’ve registered via (e.g. when you pre-save a future release from Artist(s) on Spotify), including your username, profile picture and amount of followers on such third-party platforms (if applicable);
your activity on such third party platforms (e.g. your top artists, public playlist, content you’ve saved) (if applicable);
date of your pre-save action (if applicable);
age (if provided and applicable);
email address; and
location.
3. Why?
We collect the data to:
send you updates and news from the Artist(s) you follow;
fulfil the purpose(s) you provided the information to us (such as pre-saving an Artist(s)’ release and/or signing up to receive exclusive updates from us and/or Artist(s));
understand general fan engagement through statistics and insights: and
share similar artists, music and other related information we think you might like, based on your preferences and interactions.
4. How we and the Artist(s) may use your information
Your data will be securely stored and shared only with the Artist(s) you’ve chosen to follow or engage with. To enhance your experience, and only with your consent, we may also be granted access to your accounts on approved third party platforms (such as Spotify or Apple Music) to perform certain actions you have enabled through our services (e.g. adding pre-saved or autosaved releases to your music library on such third party platforms). This access may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable third-party platforms.
We and the Artist(s) you follow or engage with, may contact you to share the latest music updates, exclusive content, or other related news that we believe you'll enjoy and benefit from. You can manage or revoke these third-party permissions at any time through your account settings on those platforms.
5. International transfers of your data
We may store or process your personal data in countries outside your own, including outside the EU/EEA. If that happens, we’ll make sure your information is handled securely and in line with applicable data protection laws.
6. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes under this End User Privacy Policy or until you ask us to delete it (to the extent permissible by law).
7. Your rights and how to contact us
You can withdraw your consent or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting both the Artist(s) and Amuse. You may contact us at support@amuse.io or via this link. If you choose to contact us by email, please include “FAN EMAIL DATA REQUEST” in the subject line. This helps us locate and handle your request more efficiently.
Please note that Amuse can only process requests related to data held in our systems. Any inquiries sent directly to the Artist(s) will be their responsibility to manage, and Amuse cannot guarantee their response.
