1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This competition (“Competition”) is hosted by Amuseio AB (“Promoter”), a Swedish company with company registration number 559036-7016.

1.2 By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Ts&Cs”). Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Ts&Cs. 

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Competition is open to all entrants aged eighteen (18) years or over.

2.2 The following entries to the Competition shall not be accepted and shall be immediately disqualified, with any entitlement to the Prize (as later defined) becoming immediately null and void:

1. Entries that are not accessible or viewable by the Promoter or the Judge (as later defined);

2. Entries in excess of one (1) per person;

3. Bulk entries including by way of multiple accounts and/or fraudulent identities;

4. Entries on behalf of another person;

5. Joint submissions; and/or

6. Entries automatically generated by a computer or similar device or system.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The Competition opens at 12:00am (GMT) on 5 January and closes at 23:59pm (GMT) on 19 January. Any entries submitted or received after the closing date will not be eligible. 

3.2 Promoter will provide a clip from ‘CB x Fumez the Engineer - Plugged in’ of approximately sixty (60) seconds in duration. The clip will feature eight (8) bars of the original track together with several bars of instrumental music. To enter, participants must:

1. Write and record their original lyrics over the instrumental section of the track; 

2. Upload their submission to TikTok; and

3. Include the hashtag #PluggedInOV in the submission’s description. 

4. PRIZE

4.1 The winner of the Competition (“Winner”) will receive the following prize (“Prize”):

1. A “Pro” subscription with Amuse, valid for a period of twelve (12) months; and

2. £500 GBP in cash.

4.2 The Promoter will provide the subscription element of the Prize directly to the Winner and will use reasonable efforts to procure the payment of the cash element of the Prize to the Winner. In no event will the Promoter be liable to pay the cash element of the Prize to the Winner and the Promoter shall have no liability whatsoever in respect thereof.

5. JUDGING

5.1 Competition entries will be judged, and the Winner selected, by Fumez the Engineer (“Judge”).

5.2 The Judge’s decision is made in his absolute discretion and shall be deemed final. No correspondence shall be entered into with any entrants in respect of such decision.

6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

6.1 The Winner will be announced by the Judge via his official TikTok account (or such other method(s) as the Promoter or the Judge deem appropriate) following the closing date of the Competition.

6.2 Following such announcement, the Winner will be contacted directly via the TikTok account through which their entry was submitted (or such other method(s) as the Promoter or the Judge deem appropriate) to arrange redemption and collection of the Prize.

6.3 Should any of the following occur (or such other event which the Promoter deems a reasonable equivalent), the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the Winner and/or for the Judge to pick a replacement winner:

1. The Winner does not respond within twenty four (24) hours of the date on which contact is made pursuant to clause 6.2 above;

2. The Winner otherwise cannot be contacted;

3. The Winner rejects the Prize; or

4. The Winner’s entry is deemed ineligible or invalid, or is otherwise in breach of these Ts&Cs.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

7.1 You will retain ownership of any copyrights created by you and embodied in your entry, namely the sound recording of your voice and original lyrics. However, all remaining copyrights are reserved by their respective owners and you shall have no claim whatsoever in respect thereof. You shall have no right to use or otherwise exploit your entry in any context outside of the Competition without having first obtained all necessary licenses and consents.

7.2 You agree that the Promoter and the Judge (including any of their partners and affiliates) may use your entry, name and photograph in relating to the Competition, including in any publicity thereof. Any use of your personal data shall be solely in accordance with current EU privacy legislation (GDPR). The Promoter’s current Privacy Policy (as amended from time to time) can be found at Privacy Policy - Amuse, which you confirm that you have read and understood.

7.3 You agree to be solely responsible for any bank and payment fees and/or currency conversion costs associated with payment of the cash element of the Prize.

7.4 The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to cancel, amend, void and/or suspend the Competition and these Ts&Cs without notice at any time and without any liability whatsoever.

7.5 The Prize is as stated and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The Prize is not transferable, negotiable or available for re-sale. Neither the Promoter or the Judge shall not be liable for any inaccurate Prize details supplied to you in connection with the Competition.

7.6 There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter into the Competition.

7.7 You bear all costs associated with your entry, including but not limited to the writing, recording and submission thereof. Any and all costs incurred by you shall be your sole responsibility.

7.8 Neither the Promoter or the Judge shall under any circumstances be responsible for any damage, loss, liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you or any third party arising out of or in connection with the Competition. You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the Promoter and the Judge, their affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, employees and contractors from any and all claims, losses, expenses, demands, costs and damages arising out of or in connection with any breach by you of these Ts&Cs.

7.9 Neither the Promoter or the Judge shall under any circumstances be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations where the failure is caused by something outside of their reasonable control. 

7.10 The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with TikTok or any other social media network or platform. However, the Competition and all entries submitted thereunder are subject to TikTok’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (or equivalent in your territory), which you confirm that you have read and understood.

7.11 The Competition and these Ts&Cs are governed by the laws of Sweden and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
