How do I create a release?

Create an account, purchase the plan that suits your needs and build your track in our easy-to-use apps, available on iOS, Android or web. Add release info and artwork files, select the stores you want to distribute to and that’s it. Your music is on its way into the world!

How long does it take for my releases to reach stores?

Accepted Answer

To release on all music services on a specific date, you can choose a release date starting from 10 days from upload on Pro, and 14 days from upload on Boost.

We also offer a “Release as soon as possible” option. We generally process releases in 24 hours or less and they go live as soon as stores accept it.

Before sending the release off, we make a quick review to check that it lives up to the guidelines set by each streaming service and store. This ensures that it will be accepted everywhere and not taken down. You can see the status of your release on our mobile and web apps.

Can I make changes to a release after it's been submitted?

If you need to make a change to your release before it’s approved and sent to stores, the best option is to just delete your release and create a new one. If you need to make changes to your artwork, you can do this directly in the app. To make changes or take down releases that are live, you can contact our support team who will be able to help you.

Amuse is all for artistic freedom. But the freedom comes within the rules set by the streaming services and music stores that we partner with. How long does it take to pay out my royalties?

Accepted Answer

The streaming services and music stores usually pay out royalties 2-3 months after the streams happen. For example, a Spotify stream in February shows up on your account in April. However, our automated advances services Early Access and Fast Forward enables eligible Amuse users to access upcoming payouts as small as $10 USD faster than any competitors, cutting the waiting time by at least 2 months.
